Regulations and resolutions 

The Ministry of Higher Education has the mission of proposing to the State and the Government and, once approved, directing and controlling, higher education policies referring to the comprehensive training of higher level students, postgraduate education, preparation and improvement of cadres and reserves; and direct and control the development of science, technology and innovation in universities and affiliated science, technology and innovation entities, as well as the extension of their work to the entire society.

The Technological University of Havana "José Antonio Echeverría" is governed by Resolution 47/22 "Organizing regulation of the teaching process and direction of teaching and methodological work for university careers" as the current regulation for undergraduate studies.

Resolution 47 establishes the rules and procedures that serve as a foundation, orientation and regulation of the movement of students from the moment they enroll in a university degree until they graduate; as well as the essential aspects related to the planning, organization, execution and control of the educational teaching process, so as to prioritize the comprehensive training of future professionals.
