Economics and Process Management
What its about?
Economics focuses on studies of fundamental economic concepts such as supply and demand, price elasticity, perfect and imperfect competition, cost theory, profit maximization, among others. In addition, macroeconomic aspects such as inflation, unemployment, economic growth, and fiscal and monetary policies are analyzed. All this with the aim of applying this knowledge in decision-making within industrial companies, such as pricing, production planning, investment evaluation and efficient resource management.
Process Management focuses on the study of issues related to the strategic and operational management of industrial companies. This includes strategic planning, analysis of the business environment, managerial decision making, leadership, human talent management, innovation, corporate social responsibility, among other key aspects for the success and sustainability of industrial organizations.
