Start the basic cycle of the career, mainly with cutting contents humanist such as the History of Cuba and the philosophical conception of society. Begin the study of Higher Mathematics and Drawing. 6. Begin the study of basic aspects of the profession with the subject Introduction to Engineering. 7. Begin, for those who do not have it, and reinforce, for those who are workers, the direct linkage of students with the production processes and services to from their participation in them. 8. Develop habits and skills in the English language and in the use of the rules and regulations of the profession. 9. Work on curricular strategies and the formation of values foreseen in the degree study plan.


 Second year




1. Continue developing: - the comprehensive training of students based on the curricular strategies and values provided for in the degree study plan. - learning and training skills for knowledge management. - the discipline and industriousness of the students, as well as the ability to learn by doing as a team. - habits and skills in the English language and in the use of the rules and regulations of the profession. 2. Continue teaching the basic cycle of the degree with subjects from the disciplines of Higher Mathematics, General Physics and General Chemistry. 3. Continue training in the field of social and humanistic sciences with the study of Political Economy and National Security and Defense. 4. Continue deepening the study of basic aspects of the profession with the Introduction to Industrial Engineering. 5. Argue the role of Information Technologies in the analysis, design and improvement of the information system and in the management of innovation in production and service processes.


Third year




1. Continue developing: - the comprehensive training of students based on the curricular strategies and values provided for in the degree study plan. - learning and training skills for knowledge management. - the discipline and industriousness of students, as well as the ability to learn doing as a team. - habits and skills in the English language and in the use of the rules and regulations of the profession. 2. Complete the basic cycle of the race. 3. Begin the study of applied mathematics. 4. Develop skills in the application of probabilistic and statistical modeling methods that contribute to the diagnosis, design, operation, control and improvement of production and service processes. 5. Apply the basic concepts of business economics in the analysis and projection of the career, as well as in the assessment of impacts on business effectiveness and efficiency. 6. Develop logical-formal reasoning and information processing capacity through the design and implementation of computational algorithms and technological solutions, which contribute to the automation of work and decision making in the spheres of action of the industrial engineer. 7. Solve problems at the job level during work practice. 8. Achieve advances in knowledge of the fundamentals of the career with work practice.


Fourth year




1. Complete the study of applied mathematics. 3. Complete basic training in social sciences with the study of Social Problems of Science and Technology. 4. Continue developing skills related to the exercise of the profession with the beginning of more specific training in topics related to Human Factor Engineering and Process and Supply Chain Management. 5. Continue developing your training in relation to the use of Information Technologies in organizational processes. 6. Start the study of technological processes. 7. Advance your professional training with the development of work practice, solving problems at the level of production and service processes.

1. Continue developing skills related to the practice of the profession with the beginning of more specific training on topics related to Quality and the Business Management. 3. Carry out technological surveillance on international trends in the development of Information Technologies, to obtain knowledge that allows making design and operation decisions that impact the sustainable improvement of the positions, processes and work systems. 4. Promote the development of students' knowledge and skills in areas specific work of industrial engineering with the beginning of the study of subjects of the optional/elective curriculum. 5. Achieve progress in your professional training that allows you to define, a priori, a topic for the development of the diploma work.
